Critical Thinking
Critical thinking plays a significant role in the successful implementation of ABA therapy programs.
Restore ABA therapy involves customizing each session based on a learner’s skills, interests, and needs, as it is not a one-size-fits-all methodology. We use critical thinking skills to design and continuously modify an appropriate course of treatment for the evolving needs of each patient. These skills are crucial for creating strategies tailored to the unique personality, history, and strengths and challenges of each individual undergoing ABA therapy
Assessment
The assessment is designed to review the current skills
and abilities of the individual.
Restore ABA assessments measure skills across a vast range of domains, including motor imitation, language, visual perception, independent play, social play, linguistic structure, classroom and group skills, and other developmental disabilities. We collect data, identify target behaviors or skills, and allocate sufficient time and utilizing appropriate resources to ensure the quality of the assessment. A high-quality ABA program is critical, since BCBAs must be equipped with the knowledge and skills to individualize treatment programs to each individual’s specific needs
